I wasn't familiar with this company, they were recommended by my insurance company so that was a good start. I was out of town when a very large pine tree fell on my house during a storm. Even though it was a Sunday morning, Miles was right on it. He did a site visit and called me to start a plan to mitigate the problems. He arranged with a tree company to remove the tree, then boarded over the hole in the roof and tarped everything necessary to keep more water out. It was only about 5 hours until he sent pictures of the secured property. I look forward to working with them as I move through the short- and long-term repairs. Linda D.
I was out of town when the tree fell on my house. A neighbor called and sent pictures. After advising my insurance company, they asked if i had someone to call to help get the house secured against further rain damage. Although it was a Sunday morning, Miles with Paul Davis called to get location details. Once on site he reached out again to get info needed for a tree company they used to remove the tree so he could get the tarping taken care of. By midafternoon, it was all finished. Miles checked back a few times to offer advice and assistance for dealing with the interior water damages. He has been so helpful and easy to work with. Never having experienced the need for a restoration, and being out of the country when lightning struck our house and started the fire that caused significant interior damage, I had to wonder if the restoration company would treat us well, or take unfair advantage of us. We were pleased to discover that we had nothing to worry about. From the contents operation, several things were very impressive. The care to which the crew applied to the pack out. Everything was carefully wrapped, labeled, photographed and packed. It was as if the crew were packing out their own possessions. We did not expect all our clothing to be cleaned, bagged and put on hangers, but they were, although some of the items, which had probably been piled in a box for six months, are hopelessly wrinkled. Bringing all our goods back was also a most pleasant experience. Again, we did not expect the level of cleaning that was done prior to the goods being brought back. Literally, there was not a speck of dust in the house. Truly remarkable ! The pack out/pack in crew was also very respectful, courteous and friendly throughout the entire event. From the restoration side: We cannot speak well enough about John O'Neal, our progect manager. He is very knowledgeable, as well as respectful and courteous. He explained everything in terms we could understand. He listened very well to all our concerns, and always responded to our calls/texts in a very timely manner. The work that was done, with several revisions, was done well. We are very pleased with the results. We would be pleased to recommend Paul Davis Restoration. Thank you for your good work !
